Leena Pennanen

Mindfulness-pioneer Leena Pennanen established Center for Mindfulness (CFM), Finland Oy to increase the practice and recognition of mindfulness (MBSR). Starting trainings in Germany, she gained it’s benefits on healthcare and wellness, as well as the stress-relieving qualities of MBSR and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy). As there was no specific translation for mindfulness in Finland, Leena made it known as (harshly translated back to English) ”acceptance awareness presence”. With over 25 years of expertise in the body-mind connection and its impact on our well-being, Leena is the leading expert in Finland in this field.
